Courier refusing to deliver on a PaisaPay item

We had confirmed with the seller on ebay messages whether he will deliver @ our address which is a Taluka town (Population over 1.25 lakhs) in a district in Gujarat:

We placed the order on the seller confirming positively.

Now, today his courier calls us up from Anand town which is over 25 Kms. from our Taluka town and asks us to personally collect the consignment from district town office immediately. Or, he will return it back to the seller. We have already informed the seller of this status on phone. Pl advise. Thank you.

May be wait for Seller response and have it fixed by seller. At the same time, call or email the courier company to deliver immediately at the mentioned address (don't tell them you bought item etc.. you just tell them that you need to receive a parcel from ..... with courier number/id ....).

Some courier agents will be lazy or take advantage of not delivering to far away places thought your area would be serviceable in their list.

If nothing worked out, still need the item, if you can afford going to courier office, take it. Else leave it and let the pack get returned. Request the seller to ship through India Post again or for refund of your money.

And it is easy for you to coordinate with the delivering agent as it is near to you and agent will better understand your language and locations.

You may ask courier agent to deliver parcel to some agreed nearest place for both of you. Or let them give to bus driver (it can happen) to your area.
