We are a proud Ebayer selling on Ebay India since 2005.
We have recently noticed lot of corruption and malpractices withing Ebay India. We are PowerSellers on Ebay India, and contacted Ebay for help in how we can increase our business on Ebay India, but to avail no response. We are very confident that we can do tremendous business provided we get full support from Ebay.
However, recently we have come to our notice that several Ebay sales team members are enticing new sellers with lots of benefits such as Free listings, Free store, Free Selling Manager Pro etc.., while old sellers such as us selling on Ebay since 2005 and are PowerSeller are not getting any benefits.
Hence, we would also like to get the following benefits :
1. Free listings for 1 year
2. Free Store
3. Free Selling Manager pro
4. Register our brand name in Ebay Brand Registry.
Also, it seems that sales team is giving all this benefits in exchange of monetary consideration. The more marketing team gets paid by sellers, the more they promote their products. For eg. account managers are offered products such as Handbags worth Rs.3000/- in exchange for above benefits or to ensure that their listings are more prominetly featured on Ebay.
Hence, senior Ebay India management should take a strong action and infact investigate all new accounts and immediately stop such wrong practices by Ebay India and corruption happening in Ebay India. I do not see that happening on Ebay.com, it is just in India.
