Dear Members,

Community Court was established with an objective to provide a community forum to help address unfair feedback received by a seller. Basis the regular feedback we received from our community members, we are making significant changes to the existing Community Court to better fulfill the objective of keeping feedback fair.

The revamped Community Court will be now called Community Review Forum (CRF) and along will be effective from 3rd Jan 2011, 00:00:01 Hrs (IST).

We believe that these changes will go a long way in helping keep the eBay feedback system fair. To understand more about these changes, please join us for an online workshop on this topic between 4 PM - 5 PM on 24th December 2010 on this thread.

Still the system flaw not resolve neither post 100 positive feedbacks the reset /eligibility is regained to appeal to more cases, neither able to appeal any more cases too ???

Are others too experiencing such system snags, again mailed TnS again they gave me lecture of CRF policies gosh they never seem to read the matter only, Anybody else going through the same situationand @takgye jury are not allowed to reveal themselves in the community as per the agreement to be empaneled for juryship, But atleast we should know the rules adopted for picking up the jury we are not asking to let us know who the jury is, we do understand their being anonymous is better to both buyer or seller, not feeling partial for the judgement passed, but knowing the rules for picking up the jury will atleast make the seller & buyer community feel much more confidence in the system.

It seems no one is appointed for voting till now and all the feedback getting same responses that feedback remain as it is.

All sellers i have received new update from customer care and they told me that feedback will removed in 7 days ????
dont you think that is a long period ?????
so we have to wait for 7 days even the decission is in our favour ??????

If any of seller/buyer has got an invite for CRF please let everyone know here.

How much I know, only eBay staff are voting in CRF these days. This thing has been further proven by Mr Ambareesh's statement in the Open house discussion today-

" As a jury member in the forum I believe that these changes will ensure that the key purpose of the community feedback forum will be better addressed and the forum will be fair to both buyers and sellers. "

Also as per Ambareesh Ji, qualification for being a member of CRF are-

" community members with a strong past track record of delivering a great eBay experience "

Which seller does not strives for delivering a "Great eBay experience", But many a times situations are created which cannot be avoided. Dear Sir, I beg to differ on this, by above criteria you are not selecting jury , but you are selecting judges.


BTW Our 4 cases are still pending decision, filed on day 1 .

I dont understand if jury member is unable to vote then why seller suffer.its not compulsory for any jury to vote so from now most of the time we will get this reply.

If only ebay staff are voting for CRF then we will get this reply only as ebay CS ppl dont have time for ebay guarantee then how will they vote for our case.

I think ebay sud think again or else soon they wont be power seller any more on ebay site as negative feedback will affect there business

First of all eBay is not inviting community members as jury proving the below hunch of other members, as its silence on their choosing equation which tantamounts to it.

There is strong hunch that eBay staff are getting themselves registered on eBay and then voting or a mix of eBay staff and some community is invited.Overall not fair democratic or transparent process.

Howsoever here is the cruelest joke which shows the inefficiencies of CRF which is a failure till now,

If as a seller we had committed such mistake as CRF has, we would get advises from eBay and buyers that we deserve -ve feedbacks & they will make sellers living hell.

But the big brother who preaches all sorts of policies and penalises dearly for any mistakes made , Who is going to penalise HIM for such CRUEL BLUNDERS,

Here is the Proof

Well i got two mailers from admin@ebaycourt.com that i have won two cases as majority has voted for removing the -ve feedbacks, then as usual TnS was not removing it I one day logged into TnS chat and had talk with Amir, who promised me he will get it removed as i have won both the cases, as he pointed out there seems to be some error from CRF side thus they have not updated them for the same.

Then started the umpteen mails writing process to TnS and they as usually they do COPY PASTE EXPERTS, never even go through the content of the mail, and from jitendra to sunilraj to what not other various TnS customer care Executive s answered my mails giving and explaining me always CRF rules.

Every time i used to implore them to read the content before hastily shooting out mails, but they would never oblige then one day after almost a week or more i got mailers from eBay CS that the mail of wining the cases are Fake, and they did not even apologise for it, and said really you have lost the cases, and thus the feedbacks will not be removed.

What cruel joke is this, First you send across a judgement and then send a mailer saying the judgement given was false, How can any seller now trust the CRF, as in future too they will do the same, they will play the card that it was some eror and thus wrong mail sent.

And how can an automated system send a wrong mail, CRF is automated with no humans sending out mails, Sharatji please answer this and donot skirt this important questions, Place yourself in my shoes and see how CRUEL JOKE HAVE YOU people played with me, i am not all happy with such treatment.

3) Now after umpteen follow ups here Customer Care shoots out a non apologetic mail saying after almost past a week that the given judgements were wrong, in reality we have lost both the cases, now DIGEST THIS

Now how many feedback Stars will you rate them for

1)Content of the mail as described -- 1 star very Poor

2) Communication -- Extremely poor less then zero stars

3)Resolution Time -- took More then a week and umpteen mails for them to realize their mistake less then zero star VERY POOR

4)Price at which you got such Services --- Well we dealy pay listing fees and also almost 10 percent to eBay fees and bear the sourier charges too as per new eBay policiy too, peanlty for refunding to buyer, including all this cost, we donot want or expect after paying them such fat renumerations such Pathetic service so 1 star in this too.

This is really a CRUEL JOKE from their side for something as important this, its clear CRF policy failure and all the mist and fog around its policies.Have a clear feeling its rigged.

Respected Community Seniors and eBay Staff,
My ID is Parsavnathenterprises, i recently started selling on eBay hardly been 2 months.

My issue is, One of my buyer purchases a mobile from a remote area, which i was unable to deliver due to courier service issue, I requested the buyer again and again about an alternate address, but there was no response from the buyer, his contact number was out of service, no response to personal mails and to messages sent through eBay. finally the amount was refunded.

Is it my fault that Bluedart and TNT do not have service to his pin code : 507115. Or is it my fault that DTDC which has service to this location, doesn't carry mobile phones. even Speed post doesn't have service to this location, india post asked to send as normal parcel.

Now the buyer has left a negative feedback.

Seems like i made a mistake by making decision of selling on eBay. Please suggest where was I wrong, or what I did wrong to deserve such an awful feedback from my buyer.

Sorry to say, but you are wrong, 507115 pincode is serviced by many couriers including speedpost. You did not take trouble of finding out the details and that's your reason of getting Negative rating. Many times the pincode is not in the list of serviced towns but when you call them they will tell you that it has service. I have checked with Blue Dart, Professional, DTDC and Speedpost all have service to this pincode.

When you are selling on a professional platform you have to be best otherwise will suffer. Sorry !!!
