Combined shipping invoice confustions- Does not allow seller to edit order

Dear eBay Team,

Thanks for the improvements made. Now my sales is slowly coming back to track. Today one of our regular customer purchased 3 items. And he checked out items individually.

Out of that 3 items purchased 1 item he checked out as PayPal payment, i don't understand how in India he can pay PayPal directly via eBay.in. I successfully send revised payment instructions first, then i can combine 2 item in a single invoice with shipping discount. But still i could to include the 3rd item in invoice from customer, because he checked out with PayPal option.

I think it will be easy, if eBay allow the seller to include all unpaid items in a single invoice and allow us edit shipping charge would be great. It can save more of our time. Otherwise we need to first send revised payment invoice, then we need combine the shipping again.

It is a painful job for a seller and required lot of time. Please take care this issue.

Kind regards,
CoolBrasCo.

Hi coolbrasco,

I don't think you have the option on your eBay site yet but just in case, try to go to the Payment Status page and then click the "Edit" link. On the next page, select "Uncombine purchases."

If that is not available, is the buyer paying via PayPal?

If so, you can send the buyer an Invoice like this:

Log into your PayPal account -

1. Click the Request Money tab.
2. Click the Create an Invoice subtab.
3. Enter the required information, mark the item as an eBay item.
4. Click Continue.
5. Click on Send Invoice. .

Combined shipping invoice confustions- Does not allow seller to edit order

Hello kathiesklown1970,

Thanks it did not help.

I get the following menu items when i go to see order details. Normally if the customer choose DD/Cheque, i can revise invoice and include other items eligible. For this case i am in Dead End. I cannot do anything.

*****************************************************

Other actions for this item:
You can manage all your items in My eBay and do the following:
Mark the item shipped.
Leave feedback for this item.
View Order Details
View PayPal payment for this item.
Contact buyer, XXXXXXXXX, about this item.
Additional Options:
To list another item like this one, use the Sell Similar option.
If you have not received payment for this item, report an unpaid item.
Customise your seller settings by updating seller preferences.

*****************************************************

Where is my PayPal Payment ? He is my regular customer, does not even have PaisaPay account, he always send DD to me. This is real confusion. And the innocent customer 3 days back put everything in shopping cart and went home happily. Then after 2 days he came and asked where is his invoice with discount. How do i know his purchase in Shopping cart ?, then i asked him to click on "Buy it now", and now he is waiting for invoice.

Before customer when used "Buy it now", i just go to the send invoice page and automatically all eligible items included in invoice or there will be button which include all item. It was so easy and i can recalculate the amounts, edit shipping charges to give discount and i type my message for payment instruction and send. That's it !!!

But now, i have to send invoice separately first to cancel the customer checkout method. Then at the end i can include all the item. For example if i have 3 items purchased and customer checked out individually, first i have to send 3 times revised invoice to cancel his checkout method and then i have to send one final invoice for all three items. This is really confusing.

I hope someone from eBay Team analyze this issue and reply to me and resolve it.

Kind regards,
CoolBrasCo.
