Clarification req. about Free International & Border Listing charges

Hi Rohit / Sapana,

I had availed the promotion of Free International Listing & Border Listing. As announced, the charges will be reverted back on 25th Jan. So, do I have to pay the amount now. If yes, then should I receive back the amount by cheque or it will remain in my PaisaPay account for future adjustment.

Clarification req. about Free International & Border Listing charges

Dear emailswarup,

During promotions, users whose listings are eligible under the promotion are charged at the time of listing and are credited for all eligible items in their next eBay invoice.

The memo on the qualifying items will read "ILF and Border Free Listing December Promotion Credit"

Hi preetim,

You have just given the excerpts of the announcement. I wanted to know some finer details. I am explaining my query again.

I have recd the Invoice on 1st/ 2nd Jan. So my last payment date is likely to be 31st Jan. By 25 th Jan the charges of the promotion will be reversed (as per announcement). So,
DO I HAVE TO PAY BY 31ST JAN THE FULL VALUE OF THIS INVOICE OR PAY JUST THE BALANCE AMOUNT ACCOUNTING THE REVERSED CHARGES FOR PROMOTION?

IF I HAVE TO PAY THE FULL INVOICE THIS TIME THEN HOW CAN I GET BACK THIS REVERSED CHARGE? SHALL I GET A CHEQUE OR IT WILL REMAIN IN MY ACCOUNT INDEFINITELY FOR FUTURE ADJUSTMENT AGAINST SELLING FEES ?

My suggestion is to pay the full amount of your December 2005 Invioce.

The charges which gets reversed will be adjusted to your next invoice. ---------------

Thanks for your advice, I shall do that.
I am disappointed with the reply from ebay. What has been mentioned is not different to that in the announcement regarding this. From my posting its quite clear that I have read the announcement well. I just wanted to know some finer details. I posted it here so that other members with similar dilemma like me can get some help. It will be better if someone from ebay kindly answer to my 2nd posting/reply. Best Regards

snrama has already given one option as a solution. The other is, if your last date for payment is the 31st of January, you can wait till the 25th for the charges to be reversed and then pay the final amount.
