I had made the payment on 20th May 2010 and was following up with the guy called Surender ( may be atleast 70 - 80 times ). As he could not ship the Laptop , he had offered the refund cheque after lot of follow up. The cheque is now dishonoured as signature is not matching . What is the protection on e-bay against such people . You may ban all transcations outside paisepay or take stern action against people who are selling the product just like this . After all only the buyers will suffer and e-bay does not give any protection against any other mode of payment other than paisepay .
Now also I am following up with the guy and he is keeping his mobile switched off . Either he might have moved on to another no. for saving Rs 13k or another excuse of phone problem may come .Phone no.9816581909 was given .
Can anyone advice me how to recover the amount .
I am sharing my experience and do hope that the other people are not trapped like this.
Can ebay do something ?

v have ordered thru ebay frm rajrang shop on 13.3.2011 but til date v haven't received the things ordered, but the payments was debited frm my account. ID NO.28636841752, DESPITE OUR REPEATED REMINDERS OVER PHONE.

Hi,

Today was the first day I placed order with ebay and my experience with your customer care was worst. Itโ€™s unexpected from a company like ebay, I was not able to change my name and user id and spoke to Anuradha from your Mumbai center. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and was not ready to help. When I asked for a manager, she refused to escalate. Her statement was โ€œwhat will a manager doโ€ and then she hung up on me. That was the disgusting. I called back and spoke to Antonio (floor supervisor) and he assured me that he will give feedback to Anuradha. I was so fed up with the way i was treated that I decided to cancel my order. This is when I chatted with Shabnam who was very patient and helpful. She helped me and fixed my issue. Shabnam saved a customer for you today and deserves a pat on her back. On the other hand Anuradha needs to undergo an extensive training on customer handling skills.

I am also sending a documented letter to your corporate address.
