CRACKED TRIAL VERSION OF KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY 2010

I have won a bid for KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY 2010 (3 PC 1 Year Licence) from the seller aquafresh09. Itemno:160363255419 for Rs.450 (Paisa pay id :25337684835). I was given some links to download the software and the seller asked me to give the confirmation on ebay to get the password for downloading the files from mediafire site.
I acted according to his message and downloaded the software. After installing it, I found that the software was a free downloadable 30days trial version. Along with he has sent a crack to reset the licence number. I felt humiliated and cheated. After this transaction the item has been removed from ebay and the seller is no longer a registered seller. I am member for ebay for more than 5 years and never had such a bitter experience. Is there any way to punish this fraud seller?

I wish to inform the members that, THERE ARE SIMILAR ADS STILL ON EBAY AND PLEASE CHECK THE GENUINITY OF THE AD AMD SELLER BEFORE PURCHASING.

The same thing happened to me too, made the purchase from this seller to renew my existing KIS, he send some download links from file sharing sites... and compelled to confirm the receipt of the item on ebay to send the activation key. But I refused to do so before getting the activation key... Now this seller's status shows 'no longer registered'. Hope ebay paisapay will refund our payment as the product was not received or not as listed.

Ebay allows software piracy as the seller didnt mentioned about anything in the description.
Further you cannot hope to buy Rs 5000 worth software at 10% price. There is still many sellers selling pirated software but even sending email to ebay won't help so ebay doesnt have time to check this things.

I dont think ebay is allowing piracy. The Kaspersky antivirus is not worth Rs.5000. The legal versions are available less than 1000 rupees. That's why I ve gone for a bid. The accompanied picture also shows a boxed package of the software. Till now I have got what is shown in the picture from ebay. This is my first negative experience.

But in this age (especially) on ebay like platform it's much easier to monitor such listing to save ebay's valuable buyers got cheated. Of course ebay should have taken proper steps to checks to verify such fraud/pirated item's listings...ebay's it experts can do it easily. So don't blame buyers...plz...

this is funny, in an ironical way... india is reputed to be one of the top ten countries where s/w piracy is rampant, and here is a good buyer trying to do the right thing by buying legit s/w, and he still falls into the piracy trap!!

My two cents: Always buy s/w directly from the company website. Most of the companies selling s/w products have their own payment portal. -- Signature: I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.
