Additional Convenience Charges

Hi,

From last 2 transactions i have noticed that when i pay from my credit card there are additional charges as Convenience Charges,earlier it was not the case...can u please tell me why there are extra charges though on deals it was mentioned as products inclusive all charges..

I am guessing that you are paying via emi. Earlier the cost of emi was borne by sellers and ebay used to charge 6% commission on emi.

Now ebay has reduced the commission to 4.5% and buyers have to pay a convenience charge when paying via emi.

same here......i have just orderd one product with free shipping but they allows me to pay Additional Convenience Charges for the same  .i search in e bay help center but they dt have the clear answer mentioned.....

think they just fooling people arround here.....m rejecting this product now....n we sud wake up.....

When you are paying by cash why the convenience charges.Not accepted.
