A Great New Feature Introduced By Ebay

Hi EBay Staff and Fellow Sellers,

EBay has recently Introduced a New feature in the SELL YOUR ITEM FORM under the "Shipping & sales tax/ VAT" Field the feature is known as "Domestic Handling Time" where a seller can specify the a time frame within which he will ship the product after receiving a conformed payment from the buyer.
Though this is a great feature introduced but sellers like me and many other sellers I know on EBay are not able to utilize this field as it is not having a provision to specify a delivery time of 7 Working days!
Though it is having the provision to select 1, 2,3,4,5,10,15,20 Business days but 7 working days it missing.
If you go thru the listing of sellers you will find that a majority of the sellers specify 7 Working days as dispatch time in the description and so does we.

So this is a suggestion to EBay staff to also Include 7 Working days in the Drop down Menu of this field so that more and more sellers can start using this feature.

Glad that you find the "Domestic Handling Time" feature useful. This feature has been in place for a while now.

It is an interesting point you have raised. We will like to hear from other sellers on what they think about an option of 7 day handling time. What kind of difference will it make to your business or buyer communication?

7 days is quite a standard delivery time.

Incase the seller isnt sure if he can ship in 5 days the next option he directly has is 10 days. This is a wide gap.

Generally products are delivered in 4-8 days. So the 7 days option here is very important.

Still i await opinions of other sellers here ..
