I HAVE RECEIVED SPOOF MAILS FROM AS MANY AS THREE EX-EBAYERS IN WHICH THEY INTRODUCE THEMSELVES AS WHOLESELLERS OF GOODS ON THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
i ALMOST MISSED OUT AND CLICKED ON THE LINK..HOWEVER HAVING RECENTLY BEEN AT THE CENTRSTAGE OF A PROBLEM I DECIDED TO CHECK ON THEIR FEEDBAK PROFILES. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND.
1, ALL THREE HAD 100% FEEDBACK ON THEIR PROFILE LISTING WITH ZERO NEGATIVE.
2. ALL THREE HAD DUPLICATE FEEDBACK FROM THE SAME BUYERS/SELLERS ON THE SAME DAY. (only the item nos differed as I suspect they are fake)
3. ALL HAD CEASED PRESENT ACTIVITY WITH EBAY THOUGH STILL
REGISTERED WITH LAST TRANSACTIUON OVER A YEAR OLD.
The other thing that got my attention was that links outside of ebaywere given at which items to be sold could be viewed and all had given some numbers for tracking. All wanted payment by bank or paypal which I suspect was a ploy to get sensitive info.

did any of you have similar experiences or receive these emails?

Forward anything you think is dodgy onto eBay spoocf@ ebay.in. Check the help pages for more info.
Get the eBay toolbar, it helps to detect spoof mails.
