I'm very unhappy with buying from eBay.
Sigmabazaar promised to sell Mandrake 10.2 and Fedora Core Operating system installation cd's.
The day after I made the payment...I got a mail from sigmabazaar stating that Fedora Core was not available!
Why in such a case did he prefer to upload this product? Isn't this clear cut fraud??
Anyways, as he promised to deliver PCQ Linux 2005 - a "similar operating system to Fedora core" (he promised) - I trusted his words and told him to proceed with the delivery (I could'nt do much since I had already made the payment).
When I did receive the product...The Mandrake CD installation failed. It showed missing packages that must be present for installation to continue. When I contacted sigmabazaar about this - he simply stated that it was the fault of SpeedPost for bad handling!
That is a ridiculous statement since the problem is entirely different - that bad copying of Mandrake CD's by Sigmabazaar
Besides, Sigmabazaar also packaged the Cd's very poorly. I received 6 Cd's stacked one upon another. Obviously, they turned out to be scratched.
Such a bad product and I could do nothing but just leave a feedback on eBay.
When Sigmabazaar was told about the product's malfunctioning...he simply told me to send the cost of transporting fresh cd's of Mandrake.
That is probably the end of my patience with such a Seller.
eBay must do more to protect it's buyers.
I feel complete LET DOWN and do NOT intend to buy any more items from this site. Nor shall I recommend anyone.
