eBay Not giving refund.

Hi,
I had purchased a phone on ebay. It had problems so the seller asked me to send it back for refund. Then the seller didnt refund for 3 long months. Eventually he issued a refund after 3 months. I chatted with an ebay Customer Care Executive and i was told by him that the seller had issued a refund on 21 November 2008. After that i called the seller and i was told by him that the amount had been deducted from his account. Everyday i chat with an Customer Care Executive of eBay and he tells me to wait for 24 hours. I have been waiting for 2 weeks now. No one in eBay is telling me where my money is gone. The Customer Care Executives are helpless, because they have esclated the matter 5 times but the team responsible for refund is not giving them any updates. No one in the refund team is even bothering to tell me what is happening. I sent mail to inrswebhelp@ebay.com but no reply.
I dont know what to do and where to go. My money Rs 8900 is gone. I am not being told why i am not being given the refund if it has been issued.

I dont know what i can do. Do i have to forget about my money?

This can happen only in India not in US.

Hi, I too did purchase a MP$ player, was duped badly as the product was way beloe sub standards, and inspite of repeated complaints they did not bother to reply, the seller was ad65295, and item was 320274482092
, no one bothered, I am still very tenative purchasing, as I am not sure E-bay will intervene if there is another spoof by these people X-(
