Hi
I want to know What is the difference between AMD ATHELON and P-IV 333MHz? Is it possible for us to run the dos base application on AMD ATHELON? Why AMD ATHELON is becomming popular than P-IV? What are best utilities of AMD ATHELON over Intel P-IV? Please give me detail understanding about 32 bit data transfer and 64 bit data transfer?

2. Visual Studio 2005 (professional)
3. MS-Office (2003) including MS Visio
4. SQL Server 2005 Express
5. Some games like Football Manager, FIFA 2007, Civilization
6. Usual stuff like Acrobat reader, Firefox, IE7, MSN messenger etc.
7. MP3, CD/DVD movies and some CD writing

Kindly state the processor/MB, HDD,RAM and other hardware required for the above applications. Also please suggest the brands.

Hello froddo_in1, Please consider using Compaq V6211AU or something similar. It is one of the best and a value for money. It would be ideal if you consider upgrading the RAM to 1GB while buying this laptop. The service centres are very quick and reder good service.
