Hi bitdac79,

Sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience. To report the problem, I will suggest you to contact the customer helpdesk via the following link:
http://pages.ebay.in/help/contact_inline/index.html

To avoid such problems in future, it is a good idea to clarify any questions or doubts you might be having in your mind by using the ask seller a question feature.

Am I blind? I see no reason in the item description to expect anything else than to have bought the described laptop, except for the price and this:
http://feedback.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=aninda2004_in1

How does it fit into the eBay policies to offer a laptop and provide a membership instead?

If the transaction was like described by the buyer in the first posting, it was important to warn others about it and get the eBay security to have a closer look on this, and not a question of buying without asking enough questions about unclear details.

And if the security finds that the item description was deceptive, I think that it would be a great idea to remove the bad rating the buyer received for acting correctly.

I would suggest that you need to contact eBay's Safe Harbor and inform them and also if you have already done so Then you should follow up on the issue. We buyer's should be made aware of such fraudsters.

eBay shouldn't allow its sellers to make their feedbacks private. This encourages bad sellers to continue to do more business. Feedback should always be transparent. Sometimes this rule applies to buyers too.

How can one think of having a SONY LAPTOP for 5,999...unbeleivable....even if i saw this in my dreams i would not beleive it...even if i won such a bid i would think 5999 times before making the payment..who on earth will give u even a 4th hand Sony laptop for 5,999. Anyways, this seller tried to be Mr. Smarty Pants by selling some sort of fancy membership ...best of luck for your refund friend..
