WHY THE SHIPPING TIME IS ALLOWED UP TO 10 DAYS?

WHY THE SHIPPING TIME IS ALLOWED UP TO 10 DAYS? ON 10 TH DAY IF THE SELLER NOT SHIPPED THEN REFUNDING PROCESS GOES SO OUR MONEY GET STRUCKED  NEARLY 20 DAYS BECAUSE OF A LAZZY SELLER. 

SO THE ALLOWED SHIPPING TIME SHOULD BE RESTRICTED TO MAXIMUM THREE DAYS.

EBAY SHOULD CHANGE ITS POLICY TO PROTECT BUYERS TIME AND MONEY.

I will answer in 2 parts:-

1. Most of the good sellers ship within the first 24hrs, only useless sellers ship on the last day and you find that these are new sellers who have dirt cheap rates, so the buyer selects rate over service cause 90% buyers on ebay are greedy and have no loyalty towards a good reputed seller so it is up to you what you want.

2. More than 70% buyers also do not mark "item received" when they receive the item and the seller has to wait for 21 days to get his payment, this is also not fair so the buyer time also should be reduced accordingly to 3 days because most of our Indian buyers are so busy that they cannot mark item received but they are very prompt in opening guarantee cases.

1. Even some power seller also ships on 10 th day, I had the experience.

2. After delivering, all the shippers are giving the online tracking message as delivered. even ebay also sends sms as  "item received by you" to buyer. Even after that also if a seller gets problem in receving fund then that policy also to be changed.

BUT ANY SELLER SHOULD NOT BE ALLWED TO TAKE MORE THAN 3 DAYS TO SHIP. IF A SELLER IS LAZY OR NOT HAVING PRODUCT OR ANY THING ELSE, HE SHOULD NOT COME FOR ONLINE SALES.
