At times the embarrassment can be even more, when you are out on a party with friends showing off your Branded eyeglasses to your friends and boasting about the cool deal you got over Ebay. And that's when a smart-ass friend points out that You been fooled online 😞

Its unfortunate to see many fake eyeglasses being sold on Ebay this days. So that's precisely Why I am writing a 5 step guidelines to help you spot an ORIGINAL piece:

1] DOCUMENTS: Every TAG HEUER eyeglasses/sunglasses comes with a 2 years of International Guarantee valid in 140 countries.The seller should be able to provide you with an International guarantee card and International guarantee booklet. If the seller can not provide this, Its obvious he is selling a fake. Dont believe in any of the excuses. Save your money!

2] PRICE: An authentic TAG HEUER Eyeglass can never cost below RS. 12000/-. If someone is offering you at a ridiculous cheap price such as 2k-5k.Its IMPOSSIBLE!You are being sold China made cheap duplicate eyeglasses which are available for Rs. 350/- to 500/- at the local markets. So basically you are paying 300% more for a fake frame! TAG HEUER is an international brand. Each of its eyeglass goes throw a Quality check. Superior material is used in its France based manufacturing plant. Lots of Research and Development, design and ergonomics principles are involved. Eye care is very essential so dont hurt your health buying a fake. If you can not afford luxury brands, PLEASE rather buy a domestic brand. Counterfiet/fake products can be hazardous to your eyes because of the cheap toxic material usage.

3] ASK: Always ask the sellers for the model number and color code. You can cross check the model number on this TAG HEUER online catalogue:http://bit.ly/7bvkZp A fake seller can't provide it and even if he does. make sure the same number is printed on the arms of the eyeglasses. Also ask him for authenticity and originality. Most fake sellers make excuses like this is factory overstock, surplus stock sale, etc. They are lying, don't trust them. 4] KEYWORD MANIPULATION: This is a bit technical but can be helpful in finding an original. When you search using the term 'TAG HEUER EYEGLASSES' You will find many listings. Whereas the authentic seller would have the description name 'TAG HEUER EYEGLASSES..'. Thanks for this valuable information .ive won a ray ban aviator 3026 in one of the bids and seller describes it as original this one has a logo of ray ban RB inscribed on one of the glass and one leg has the serial no it has come with multilingual guarantee card but the casing is hard casing and not the leather casing as of Ray Ban.

Just follow this link : http://www.ray-ban.com/india/. Click on the store locator and You will find an authorised dealer in your city. You can walk in to the showroom and cross-check the authenticity.

Ray Ban glasses come with a Leather Casing. As you have been provided a hard case. That is a bit fishy. Fake Ray Ban's sell for 500-600 Rs in local markets!!

If you find out its a FAKE. You can report it to Ebay and Paisapay. This will help you get all your money back. Also will save future buyers from such fraud sellers 🙂

There are some fake bidders. How do we deal with them? Can we complain to ebay or take some action against those bidders. I wonder if the fake bidders and the sellers are same. Have a look at this bidding:
