Payment issue with PaisaPay

Hi all,

I'm a French user, trying to buy an item from an Indian ebay seller (fantaciescometrue.) In order to confirm the payment, PaisaPay is requesting me to fax a copy of my CC, which the French eBay consumer service recommends NOT to do! So what am I supposed to do in order to close the deal?
Thanks for helping me out here!

Dear natch06,

Please go through the below link on PaisaPay Data Privacy And Security Policy, this will help in clearing your doubts & give you more confidence in providing the relevant documents to PaisaPay.

We would request you to send the required documents for proof of identification which helps to ascertain that you are the rightful owner of the credit card used in the transaction and to verify the authenticity of payment.

Dear Huzaffa,

Thanks for confirming that I can safely fax a copy of my CC, I'm quite reassured now.
Accordingly, I've just faxed a copy of my Caisse d'Epargne VISA card to PaisaPay at +91 22 5669 0001. However, I wonder if it will be OK, because the prints on the card are barely readable on the copy.
Anyway, I'll see.

Best regards
Nathalie
