Octroi Charges in Pune

I am from Pune . I am planning to buy a Xperia Ray for RS 13K.
i have a option to buy from seller from Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra.
I Wanted to know if someone knows what sort of amount would i need to pay for Octroi ??:|

Hi, I purchased Samsung Mobile through e Bay .Address was in Pune- PCMC. Product price was 12889 .I bought as in local market price was 13100 Rs. While on delivery Blue Dart charged 499 Rs. extra as Octorai and Service Tax on Octorai .There was no point in purchasing online If your discount vanishes due to these taxes as risk is always there during online purchase.

don't go delivery in maharashtra .You would be paying anything between 500 to 700 as octorai charges.

Just an interesting question to everyone on this forum.
Is anyone aware that from 31st of march pune including new mumbai and few municipal corporations are abolishing octroi and getting LBT instead.
So my question is how will that affect a buyer?
Does he still has to pay the Local Body Tax?:-)

Yes its true guys of all the items i have ordered until now from first flight i had never been asked for octroi.
Wonder if all the buyers can please send the items in pune via first flight.

Octroi no longer exist in Maharastra. May be custom charge will be applicable.
