NO warranty for Sennheiser headsets

I have a 3 month old Sennheiser headset newly purchased from ebay and confirmed by seller that it is covered under 2 yr warranty. I have a technical problem with headset, Sennheiser declines any warranty on following grounds:

Normally Sennheiser will not provide warranty for online products because of few reasons which mentioned below...

1) Anybody can sell his product (new/ old) online through eBay.
2) This is really very critical issue to know whether the product sold is a genuine of a fake one.
3) Genuineness of such product bought online is always in question
4) eBay is not our authorized channel partner.
5) Last but not least, the product sold online maybe from grey market as well.

Our international warranty applies to only genuine Sennheiser product bought from an authorized dealer.

- WHO WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT/REPLACEMENT?

Dear sir

When you buy a product please check MRP sticker and serial number. It will show imported by some Indian company.

Normally it should come that way then its authorized product and not gray market.

And once you are sure it was distributors product there should be warranty issue and sennheiser is liable to give you warranty and support or you can go to consumer court against them

There is no serial number listed for the product but there is MRP & imported sticker.

Don't buy Sennheiser products on Ebay. Sennheiser will not honor its warranty because Sennheiser will advise that ebay is no an authorized dealer an that there is no warranty. So you will buy at your peril with no warranty for what you buy. on ebay.
