We sometimes get email from seller using the eBay portal's messaging system saying : Please leave feedback for eBay item # so&so with a link for the feedback even when the item is yet to be delivered!
This is downright stupid and DANGEROUS. Later on, seller can claim that he delivered, (and got feedback also!!!) when in actual fact, item was never delivered to buyer.

I agree with you, Once Buyer have the item in Hand and after physical inspection only Buyer should leave Feedback. Forcing to leave + feedback before delivery of the item should be reported to Ebay.

Who Forces whom to leave feedback, seller must be asking you to confirm item receipt and leave feedback after you receive the item, Though he might be sending this information mail before.
In case some seller deploys like no warranty or no gift if feedback is not received that can be reported to eBay, as that comes under feedback manipulation policy of eBay.

@linusstudios :
Nah, this is a distinctly separate email from seller when item has NOT been received by buyer yet. Doesn't that fall under eBay feedback violation policies?

@mnongkhlaw1665...
Some sellers have a automated email in place wherein a few days after after dispatch a mail is sent to the buyer automatically to confirm receipt and for feedback, its no big deal. 90% buyers do not mark item received even after reminding them (by email and telephone) and the seller has to wait for 21 days to get payment from ebay hence this email is sent. Its ok just act on it or ignore it if you have not received the product.
