The link Provided by vk1413 works. you will be able to choose your gift. but choose wisely. you won't be able to change once you click "I want this Gift".

To claim the ebay "Independence Day Promotion 2012" gift:

Visit the main ebay page at http://www.ebay.in/

Scroll the website page down and you will see the IDP 2012 Redemption banner: http://rtm.ebaystatic.com/203/RTMS/Image/930x75_strip1.jpg about midway down the website page

the redemption link uses Session IDs so it is not good to paste it here.

If you do not see the IDP 2012 Redemption banner log out of your ebay account and close all your browser pages.

Open your browser again, preferably Internet Explorer, and visit http://www.ebay.in/

After you click on the Redemption Banner you will see the ebay website page with this:

When you log in to the ebay account, you may be asked to validate your account login security and in some cases you will have to contact ebay.

Contact ebay through the online live chat link on the same page. i had a problem to log in and the live chat was from ebay australia not india. the csr validated the account login and i could then login to claim the gift.

depending on your purchases, you will only be shown the gifts you are entitled to. you get only one chance to select, no changes allowed, so be careful
