Iam thinking of importing some goods from China .
they will ship by China post.
Iam a student having small online business on eBay 🙂
do we need any code like IEC to import around 15 items at a
time ??
or can I import more?
please help me regarding this.
what are the legal aspects??

If you undervalue your package of 10 - 15 items to a total of just $35 the FPO will detain it and ask you for an invoice and ID and maybe also the IEC for it. Whenever any foreign parcel reaches india the customs officers at FPO will open each and every package to inspect it for duties.
I have been buying stuffs from eBay US for the last 10 years so had to deal with all such circumstances with dealing with FPOs.
Hope this answers your queries.
