Conflicting tips and FAQs from eBay!! buyers and even sellers please check

I recently received a "Second chance offer" for a bid I
had lost before.

On the page about FAQ(s) on "Second change offers"
following is written

In the event that something goes wrong with the sale,
can the buyer file a claim?

services. Under the eBay Buyer Protection Program, most

following is written

What is true? What is the message eBay wants to pass?
I am confused...

Please respond, answer from some eBay official is highly
appriciated.

This means Second Chance
Offers sent through My Messages are not endorsed and accepted by ebay. Only if its sent by proper channel will it be covered under Buyer Protection !! :) Sunny 🙂
