Buy It Now and PaisaPay: What happens if........?

Sorry about the title of the thread. I couldn't think of a short meaningful subject line for this topic.

So far, this has NOT happened to me, but it could: What happens if a buyer chooses to pay for a Buy It Now item with PaisaPay, but cannot immediately complete the payment process?

This could happen due to various reasons. For example, the buyer's internet connection may be disconnected before he can complete the transaction.

In such a situation, does the buyer lose his priority status? Is the item automatically up for sale again? Or is it marked as "ended" and the buyer can pay later?

With an auction item, the winning bidder gets a chance to pay at his convenience after the auction has ended even if it's a PaisaPay item. But what about a Buy It Now item?

This is something which I want to bring in notice of eBay staff. Ideally the item QTY should be restored and no alterations should be done on item after the thing mentioned above happens. But it is being brought repeatedly to our notice by our respected buyers that the item QTY is decreasing but nothing is reflecting on Paid with paisapay page. Neither is the amount being debited from credit card.



I have figured out why this error is happening, So if someone from eBay technical calls I can explain .
