how to issue partial refund to buyer who paid through paisapay ?

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea on how to issue an partial refund to any buyer who paid through Paisapay ?

Paypal have such facility but i am not sure if Paisapay has ?

Its an required feature which paisapay must have, as sometimes we may need to offer some refund/discount to buyer towards that transaction, so issuing refund through paisapay itself is the most convenient way.

kindly guide.

Hello,

Earlier there was a provision of refunding partial amount through PaisaPay but now one cannot refund partially through PaisaPay.

In case you have sold multiple Items in the same Order then refund against specific Items is possible.

But partial refund to settle down issues with the transaction is not possible at the moment. .

Hi all,

PaisaPay has lots of dissimilarities to PayPal:

1. Refund process is late.

2. Partial Refund for a single transaction is impossible.

3. Additional Invoice cannot be sent to receive money from buyer.

4. Automatic Refund in case of Despatch is not on time.

5. Automatic Refund in case of Delivery is not on time.

6. Payment is on hold for Sellers who do not qualify for Express Remittance.

7. Fear of Chargeback if the transaction is fraudulent, no guaranttee by PaisaPay whereas PayPal has almost nil chargeback issue.

All together the sword is over Seller's neck until everything goes fine with PaisaPay transactions.

hi skygiftworldwide

thanks for your comments...
ebay india should really do something on such important issues....
they charge 4% still not able to provide quality service.
whereas paypal is much better charging 3.4% or less and have great services, that too paypal is an ebay company.

in paypal the fees are charged to sellers based on volumes, higher the volumes, lower is the fees, i havent heard is paisapay is having such features ?

Hi,

A better option would be Online Transfer / depositing cheque in Buyers bank a/c after the PaisaPay Payment has been confirmed in your bank a/c.

That way the problem can be resolved if buyer agrees.

Thanks Ashok for your comments.

Best would be through paisapay, as this way paisapay also refunds that much part of fees. We need this facility as seller as sometimes we may need to offer some discount or some refund to buyer. With paisapay it will be much convenient and also no hassle for seller or buyer. Buyer will also not need to reveal his bank information to seller.

So right now only option is what you suggested, direct bank deposit/transfer. Red Ice Auction

Hi,
I think you can still pay back partially by demand draft or ebay's HDFC bank transfer, all other details remaining same.Ebay will not question the amount, but it will surely deduct its commission for transfer. The amount less commission will appear in receipient's a/c.
But,why take trouble?Nowadays you have several options.
Thanx,
