UNJUSTIFIED NEGATIVE FEEDBACK

Hi all,

to the buyer ( id : irkworld)
Received the order on 15th May, and customer received the product on 16th may in less than 24 hours.
Customer has still left negative fb citing octroi as the reason, where as, i have clearly mentioned in my listing that octroi where ever applicable has to be borne by the buyer himself.

REALLY REALLY, DISAPPOINTING AND DISHEARTENING. TOTALLY ENDED MY SPIRIT TO PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE APPEALED IN CC, GUESS THATS ALL I CAN DO. buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

I remember you were pointing to good service to customers despite of every odd response in some other discussion some time back... I think now u are seeing things with much more realistic approach.

At least you are able to appeal in CC and get it removed in 2 weeks.

I have got a neutral with all 1 DSR's within 3 days of payment by an irrational buyer. What Should I do?
Also this same week , Buyer bought wrong size admitted it was her mistake and then left me negative.

What do we have which protects us from such buyer's?

Now I have stopped looking towards my DSR's and lost all my goodwill spirit. If eBay wants to make these transactions pure business with no ethics from either sides. Let it be so. For me it shall be pure business now onwards. No free Shippings, no exchanges, no calling customers for updates. I guess thats the only way we can survive amidst such injustice. So be it.

See this is exactly what I am saying, now keep your cool....don't loose it.

I will cite a similar example of octroi and tell me your answer. I purchased a Nikon lens from the seller "jk_camerazone(2371)" costing Rs.12000/- through my wife's ebay id as she had recd a Rs.1000/- discount coupon.

Before purchase I talked to the seller on phone and after purchase I sent him a mail saying that do not send invoice as octroi will be charged and to pack the lens carefully to avoid damage.

This seller does not reply to mails and he did not reply to my mails, OK. When he sent the item, the lens which weighs about 325 gms was packed in a box 10 times the size of the lens, the foolish seller packed the lens in a huge 10kg cardboard box and sent a full amount invoice along with the big box and I was charged a octroi of Rs.600/-.

The fun part is the the lens was still packed very badly because the small lens box was loose inside the big box, he had just thrown in some small thermocole pieces in the big box, how will that hold the lens I don't know. The story gets even better, the serial nos on the lens did not match the serial nos on the lens box. When I asked him he says coolly "mistake by my staff" that's all. Tell me how how will I feel after spending Rs.12000/- and if this is the treatment meted out to a fellow seller then what this seller will do to normal buyers I don't know. Even after I marked item received and gave a +ve rating he did not give me a feedback till I sent a mail requesting feedback from him. Any answers you have, tell me.

I guess he just took advantage of you being a fellow seller. telling you similar case with mustafa (real phoenix) he ordered a phone, I could make out he didn't like it and was very hesitant to ask for another phone, he kept on saying this is OK, he will utilize it or sell it in local market. I usually do not offer exchanges or returns, but since he is a seller himself and he didn't pressurized me , i asked him to send it forward to one of my customers and i will send him another one.

And tomorrow I expect same from him or you or any other seller.

I am still wondering, how could jkcamera do such a thing with a delicate item like camera lens. There might be instance that staff made a mistake and all but seriously, we cannot pass on these mistakes to our customers (except a half witted customer such as mine). buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

received another negative from a buyer today, really funny reason - packing not good and small scratch on the bag. got it revised. but still it lowered my buyer satisfaction and search standing went to poor.
clearly means eBay doesn't need me.

seriously, do we have an option except community court? why dont we all join hands together and take up with eBay? I am sure they will listen, i still have full faith in eBay system, however, it is not meant for Indian buyers (some foolish sellers as well). buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.
