Hi all,
I sold an item http://cgi.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150442727301&ssPageName=ADME:L:SSI:IN:1123
to the buyer ( id : irkworld)
Received the order on 15th May, and customer received the product on 16th may in less than 24 hours.
Customer has still left negative fb citing octroi as the reason, where as, i have clearly mentioned in my listing that octroi where ever applicable has to be borne by the buyer himself.

REALLY REALLY, DISAPPOINTING AND DISHEARTENING. TOTALLY ENDED MY SPIRIT TO PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE APPEALED IN CC, GUESS THATS ALL I CAN DO. buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

situation is really sad here and parties benefiting are :- eBay off course and insensible lot of sellers & buyers, other (honest) sellers and buyers are on the losing side, in spite of all the co-operation. On top of that sellers have to be on the front foot in this cutting edge competition, with category managers calling in and asking to cut the prices so they can promote us.
why promote items from guys who give cheapest, promote it from the one who gives best service instead.

I think either Indian market is too dumb to understand e-commerce, or its too clever to fool off people. Again, greed part in both buyers and sellers, makes an edge here and makes life living hell, As for me and Linus at current moment.

ITS A SAD STORY OVER ALL AND I AM REALLY BUGGED UP, I called my buyer and simply asked him, will you remove this negative or not, since i asked him to call me and remind to send the bag which got small scratches while in transit and he forgot to remind me. He admitted the mistake, was sensible enough, and we sorted this out.

I THINK eBAY, SHOULD COMPLETELY REMOVE THE FB SYSTEM TILL BUYERS HERE ARE NOT SENSIBLE ENOUGH, AND SHOULD BE SELECTIVE ABOUT THE SELLERS, CHARGE AN ENTRY FEE OR MAY BE A SECURITY DEPOSIT FROM THE SELLERS, AND ONLY KEEP SELECTIVE ITEMS FROM EACH SELLER. RIGHT NOW ITS A FISH MARKET. buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

See its very difficult for eBay.in to remove feedbacks or a matter of fact even DSR. Because terms are dictated by .com site which they have to follow.

What you are feeling I have felt many a times in this short stint of mine on eBay. What keeps me going are the numerous mails, messages and thank You notes which my 99.99% Buyers send me. I even get calls thanking for the clothes I send to my buyers.

As already mentioned I have closed my eyes towards DSR's and feedbacks, I just want to keep it over that cut off under which SNP's start. thats it.

I was talking with another fellow seller today and we were discussing these same things. I found that 50% returns which are being claimed in Buyer Protection Program in US are from NRI's . We Indians are groomed this way. Wanting things for free.

Let this DSR and BPP stay for another year and we will see what % of genuine sellers remain on the same portal.

And By the way congrats on getting the "Tag" of Powerseller.
