Your question has half of you answer. Your sales volume depends on the following:-
1) How old are the listings
2)How well you present your item description
3) Your feedback ratings
4) Listing PIC Quaity
5) How fast you answer the queiries
Customers in india are cost sensitive but would not like to go in a transaction which is vague or which doesnt win their trust
Last but not the least be honest and truthful to your customer . I dont know how but this works
