This is for Mr Rahul Moon, eBay claims department. Who intimidated the customer to file claim against me.

(before reading further please see the case back ground- Customer just said there was some problem with the phone that he sent to his father.
I asked the customer to send the phone back i will send a replacement. Customer told me his father wont be able to go to courier company to send the phone back and he really missed talking to his family. On hearing this I immidiately arranged the courier pickup my self wide bluedart courier number 60093834161. and without waiting for the delivery of the same, I dispatched another item for the customer wide bluedart airway bill number 43627868023. In the mean while he told me that he received the call from eBay and when he told the rep their is some problem with the phone they asked him to open the claim instead of communicating with the seller. He was not made aware that these issues can be well taken care of by effectively communicating with the seller. but was asked to open a claim)

Today i received a mail from Mr Rahul Moon claims adjuster:
"Dear Sir,

With regards to claim no:11681,Item Id 160449566203 Item Title G'FIVE F5 DUAL SIM DUAL STANDBY PHONE -1 YEAR WARRANTY,Buyer Selected Id kamesh_ld Seller Selected Id mobile-phones-etc .

We request you to revert on this e-mail with the status of the item condition and the resolution for resolving this issue within 48 hours.

Failure to respond to this e-mail may result in this claim being defaulted by you and hence appropriate action will be taken by eBay.

We encourage you to contact your trading partner and try to resolve this transaction.
We await your response at the earliest.

Now today around 18:30 PM i received call from this eBay rep. he didn't even know customers full name. When i told him same (that customers name he is taking is incorrect, he replied i know my job (some thing like that). After that he asked me he is gonna take customer in the conference. I told him I am on off today so better call me tomorrow around 12:00. in his rude response he said "I am gonna keep the claim open and gonna put seller not cooperative"

Cant we as a seller take even 1 day as a off? This guy was rude, arrogant, harassing and very blunt while talking to me. I feel really offended with this, this has actually taken my peace of mind. Is this what we get in turn of paying 1000's of rupees in eBay fee? eBay cant even hire proper reps who have basic communication etiquette?

ebay live chat support available Monday to friday 10-6. and they expect us to work round the clock. When ever their reps call us we should be available to them.

eBay please invest in your Human Resource. Give them better training and provide them with effective communication tools. I have spoken with other guys as well from claims dept All very friendly and polite. But this time you made a mistake. He should be in some banks collections team. buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

Sorry that you and Mr. Rahul Moon has started off on a bad note. He has been even my claim adjuster for a few claims. I have found that he is quite a reasonable guy, I have spoken to him a number of times and he has cooperated to the full extent possible. I would request to call him and speak to him once again and clear the air of misunderstanding that exists between you two now and explain the issue to him. Please do it tomorrow itself. You will find that he is cool guy to deal with and I am sure he will help you out.

In all my interactions with ebay customer support i have found the customer care deptt. with real low in actual knowledge, totally reading scripts, may be this is because these are outsourced (i think the claim adjusters are also out sourced). Though i have not faced problems with claims deptt. till now,

The only problem is that i dont get a mail or no call for many days after the claim is filed , I have to call myself to talk to those guys and get them to close solve the case.

Even we have had a bad experience with Rahul Moon as our Claims adjudicator, he seems to be very high handed and passes claims without even contacting the sellers.,neither gets the facts verified , and the horror is our goods also wont get back to you, so pray you donot get him as your claims adjudicator.

For claim no:6268,Item Id 280476315238 Item, he passed a claim of a buyer who already has purchased the same in march 26, and left us a positive feedback now after continued use the 49rs memory card due to wrong usage or something was broken by the buyer and he applied for a eBay guarantee claim in July 4 well yes after 3 and half months, to which Mr. Rahul moon even after us informing him that the product is sold even before the eBay guarantee inception.

It very clear in eBay gurantee program that the claim should be raised within 30 days timeframe, and this is blatant violation of the policy, Also the buyer has left a positive feedback, this means anyone from march or february or anytime frame can initiate an eBay claim and MR.rahul moon will pass it, eBay should clearly look into his performace .

OK it calls for my latest experience with (Out Sourced) eBay support.

This Friday , I got up at 10(way early by my standards), Last night couriers had been dispatched for which I was planning to enter shipping details.

I opened Sold with PaisaPay and to my horror I found all my items there shipped and not shipped displaying a message in place of item titles- " Item Deleted or archived, Please contact customer Support" . I was in middle of my morning Tea, I froze. From my little experience i knew that this message comes only when Ur id is suspended.

I called Paisapay Support. Executive (wont name as I dont want ny trouble for nyone) told me that my id has some violations and is under suspension. And soon all my active listings will be brought down. My Tea was now chilled. I tried confirming this twice as I knew Fridays are not really good days for eBay servers. But to my doom she confirmed that my id for sure is in violations. Whoa.

My account manager failed to pick up my call. I called some other person in eBay who assured me that my id is clear with no problems. I refreshed my page and yes my items were back again.

Now what do you call this? I was in for a heart attack and yes I lost my half mug morning tea which went in Sink !

Peace to all but this is not a work of fiction . It happened in real Last Friday.

( This does not under estimates my other wonderful experiences with eBay staff who have always shared my burden of selling on eBay. )
