I bought a Himayala herbal product for Rs. 330. After i ordered the item, i found that the same product is available from Himayala site for Rs. 112 (including shipping). So the price is almost 3 times than the original price.

Also the price printed on the product was overwritten using a marker pen.

The seller's reply is as below:
product pricing is based on eBay & PaisaPay fees charged for sales and our Administrative/Handling charges

I think every customer should check other sites (even local stores, where you could get the same product for 1/3rd of the price) before buying from any online sites. I think Flipkart, Infibeam etc. are better in terms of service and product price. The price is either better/same as buying from a local book shop.

To me it doesn't make sense giving 3 times the price just for convenience.

Isn't it common sense to check prices before you buy, online or offline or anywhere. Does one need to be told to do that ????.

Why do buyers buy with their eyes closed is a big mystery to me.

You can request the Seller to refund as you would be having 7 day money back.

And your post looks like you wanted to promote other sites. Very few sites have good collection of items like eBay has and you will good prices, you need to search search.
