There are five key elements to the new Feedback system being introduced in the first half of 2008:

Beginning in February, buyers and sellers will be able to earn up to one Feedback per week from the same trading partner. Today, members may only affect each other's Feedback scores one time, regardless of the number of transactions between the parties. This change will both encourage repeat transactions and reward good service.

Sellers will no longer be able to leave negative or neutral Feedback for buyers. This change will occur in May, 2008.

Removal of negative and neutral Feedback left by members who are suspended or who fail to respond to the Unpaid Item Process (UPI).

Positive Feedback percentage will be based on the past 12 months of Feedback, rather than lifetime, since it is most indicative of the seller's recent performance.

Restrictions on when Feedback can be left:
... Buyers must wait three days before leaving negative or neutral Feedback

... Instead of 90 days, members will be able to leave Feedback for 60 days

Hello Devesh (cameras_n_such),

eBay.in is not making any changes on pricing (which some of the other eBay sites viz. US, UK & DE are making.) 🙂 The only change we would be making is the way Feedback system works. I’m sure you must have read about the announcement on Feedback changes we made yesterday.

Don’t forget to attend our online workshop on the changes in the feedback system on February 11 2008.

Dear Indraneel , thanks for your quick replies with positive messages . I hope for some relief for sellers from Paisa pay system also very soon.

In fact eBay.in can increase its userbase manyfolds by providing services at competetive charges to sellers so that they can trap the growing consumer base in India . Just take the example of mobile industry . So why it is not possible to make ebay a countrywide shopping mall where cost of products is at par with what is available in local markets while buyer has the great fascility to select and purchase goods sitting in his home.

The only hurdle at present is New paisa pay system and high ebay fee which adds more than 10% to the actual costs .
