New buyers don't know how to confirm item receipt?

Hello, i sold few items here and it occurs to me that new people who just sign up and buy some item here and after getting item in their hand they are not aware of confirming the same with ebay. I've called them and ask if they got item or not and they said they got it but didn't confirm with ebay so i request them them to do the same. Please let me know if i am wrong here.

Yes its true buyers don't know where to confirm receipt of item.I think ebay should explain to them through mails or phone.
