They said it will take 24 hrs to verify. On contacting them after 1 day, they said they will escalate it and it should be done within another 48-72 hrs. On getting frustrated, I asked them to cancel the order so that I can re-order it with cash_on_delivery. That, too, is not possible since the order is already placed. Moreover, the agents seem to be be more of rules_and_regulations informants than customer_satisfiers. I have used Ebay USA for years together, and this was just something not expected.
