i prefer SOny Ericsson and Motorola over Nokia here as they are something different.

Majority of cell phones selling in INDIA are the low cost ones mostly below 5000. In this segment mostly NOKIAS are sold . Hence they are very common.

Havign a Motorola or Sony Ericsson gives a unique edge with same/similar/better functions !!
