I had been a fool to deal on ebay, and had done a deal which went sour. Ebay, as usual, washed its hands off, and replied that they are just a "venue between buyers and sellers" and are not directly involved in the transaction.
I have taken lots of action against ebay, and have come across an interesting news which i would like to share with you.
Apparently, Louis Vuitton, the french fashion house, is contemplating action against ebay, for allowing to sell counterfeit goods on ebay's site, thereby causing loss to louis vuitton. It seems, the amounts demanded is very high, in Millions of euros. We are sure, that ebay shall again wash its hands off, saying the same thing which they tell to victims, that they are not concerned with what is happening on their site, and they are not responsible.
All of us victims should watch this case very carefully. If the court decides that ebay is wrong, then we can make an inference, that the courts are placing making ebay directly responsible for goings-on on the site. Let us join hands together, and send mail to the louis vetton company, and its lawyers, and also various consumer forums in india and tv channels, exposing the frauds of ebay.
(((( Here, it would be pertinent to mention that LV had filed a case against another internet site, for allegedly directing providing links to sites that sell counterfeit products. THe above company was fined Euro 200000, which was increased to euro 300000, when they lost the case in US courts.)))
The above judgement is of extreme concern to us, as ebay is always trying to avoid responsibility , saying that they are not responsible for any deal that goes on their site.
