Octroi charges for getting HTC HD2 mobile

Hi guys,
I am from mumbai. I am planning to buy a HTC HD2 for 32K Rs. from a seller who is outside maharashtra. Wanted to know if someone knows what sort of amount would i need to pay for Octroi?

Thanks for correcting me. Actually I am referring to customs and not Octroi. I want to buy some Personal Health care products from US anywhere between 1000- 5000 Rs.

Could some one please update what are the other places apart from Mumbai that don't have Octroi charges in Maharashtra. And if we mention as gift on packet and as well as docket will the customer escape from not paying Octroi charges?

Raj, that is blatantly incorrect information you are posting around. Check your facts. Octroi exists in Mumbai.

I know the facts, there is no octroi in Mumbai, just check on ebay itself most of Mumbai sellers have said that there is no octroi in Mumbai and also check what @mihir.maniar has said in his 4th posting "I did not have to pay any octroi". The list put up by you is old, octroi in Mumbai has been abolished long back and the octroi for Nasik is 4% and not 3% as mentioned in your list. I am sending material everyday to Mumbai and no octroi is charged.
