I'm not quite frequent writing review about products, but this intrigued me. Recently I was barefaced by the counterfeit purchase of BOSE IE2 headphones which were going cheap @ INR 2000. Everything was perfect, the package, hologram code, serial number until I plugged in to listen. Sound was bitterly substandard, the output was low too even at high volumes. I wrote to Bose to check the authenticity (Report_Counterfeits@bose.com). They confirmed that these indeed are not genuine and they will not be covered under warranty at any Bose store or bose.com. I have an email from bose.com which can be shown as a proof.
I just want to send an alert to eBay buyers who are willing to buy Bose at **bleep** minimum price, for these are not authentic and just another chinese gimmick.
