Selling on eBay is Safe and easy. Here are some important things you should keep in mind while selling:

Payment Safety Tips
- Refrain from accepting payments through Western Union Money Transfer
- Make sure to ship the product only after receiving payment. In case of cheque or demand draft ship the product only after it has been cleared.
- In case if a buyer offers to make payment through PaisaPay check for a payment confirmation from PaisaPay in your My eBay Account.

Dear pappancha,

Here are some more safety tips you should keep in mind while selling on eBay.

Beware of Spoof Mails
Spoof emails are emails that fake the appearance of a popular Web site or company in an attempt to commit identity theft. These emails claim to be sent by well-known companies and ask consumers to reply with personal information, such as their credit card number, banking details or account password.

You may come across emails that look like they have come from eBay, however they may be Spoof. Make sure you have the eBay toolbar that will warn you against any Fake sites.
It is a Free Tool. You can download it by clicking on the following link.
http://pages.ebay.in/ebay_toolbar/

- Review a member's eBay reputation.

- Use the Block bidder tool to block bidders who have negative feedback / Unpaid Item Strikes/ buyers from countries you are not willing to ship to/ bidders who are not verified.

For more details on safe Trading visit http://pages.ebay.in/sellercentral/safetrading.html

I hope this helps you selling safely on the site.
