i have sent mail with proof for both address and id verification but for past few days I have got no reply from ebay neither has hold been lifted. Will someone help on this?
Hi devanshic02!
Just give a call to eBays Toll Free number (1800 209 3229).
And tell them date of email and sbject line in which you attached KYC Docs.
Thats it.
Then its their responsibility to verify and save your Docs.
Hope this will help you.
Regards,
Madan.
Hello, I also had the same problem. Here is what I did when emails to the appropriate 'team' did not work.
I went to 'Live Chat' (available Mon - Friday between 10 and 6, I think).
I told that person the problem and gave the dates on which I had sent emails to verify KYC, but had heard nothing back from that department. Their robotic response was that my problem would be forwarded to the appropriate team responsible for that kind of situation. Sure enough, that evening I got an email saying 'Congratulations on successful completion of KYC verification.'
I had another problem still, that I could not list additional items due to an 'Alert' message, but no one from Ebay had sent any message stating why I could not list additional items. I searched and searched the Ebay site for anything related to limitations set on 'new Sellers', and found nothing helpful. I went back to 'Live Chat' and asked why I am not allowed to list additional items. Again, robotic response of sending my query to the appropriate team. Withing 24 hours I got an email explaining why a new Seller is restricted to a certain number of listed items.
So far I have gotten answers only after going through Live Chat.
Ebay India needs some major 'tweeking' to make the Ebay buying experience a pleasant one for both Sellers and Buyers! Too many of the options that I have clicked on for help will say that the page is not available at this time.
Good luck with your situation, and I hope this bit from me helps!
