Before you GO anywhere it is said you need to ENQUIRE about the place and JOURNEY that will give you BEST Journey.
And Before you start any Business it is necessary to have some details, especially negatives points this will help us.
I know few people who have experiencing Selling on Ebay.
What they say is. BUYING on Ebay is Acceptable.
For BUYER it is good place.
But, when it comes to SELLERS it is not right place.
Ebay has many disadvantages.
Feedback policy on Ebay is the worst in the Industry. Unlike other websites you will suffer a lot selling on Ebay. Unless you are expert.
If you are expert obvisioulsy you can do anything and even start your own website.
What is learn is Ebay Employees are dump and do not take any kind of action if sellers facing issues.
Their Email feature, never never works. You have issue, you contacted their customer care.
You may get automatic email saying 'We have received email and we will get back to you in 24-48 hours' First of all 24-48 hours is not acceptable. NOw don't think your issue will be resolved in 24 hours. Rarely 5% you may get email that too not with resolution.
I have seen sellers who really CRYING sitting on their desk. \
Sellers face many issues but, whenever you contact Ebay customer care through chat support. They just put you on hold for simple issues, either disconnect the chat or prolong it. Until you get tired,. Very rare your issues will be resolved.
On phone support too, they just ask you verification details. They even don't have database to check the previous logs
It is very easy to do fraud as buyer on Ebay. Just purchase any item, specially non branded items, like most of the items are not branded like toys, mp3 player, fm radio, unque items etc.
When seller send, Buyer try to find issue and 99.99% of any chinese or imported items will definitely have some or the other issue. Meaning in the description. When you purchase from local store, they clear show you, you like it and purchase it.
But, if you take back again to China bazaar or any store. They will never take back. Because, they too purchase from dealer where they filter items that is damage and they provide you good working one. What if you do not like?
But, ON Ebay India, BUYER purchase it. And then raise a claim.
or they purchase it and then warn the sellers they will give negative feedback. It is like blackmail, Day robbery. But, keeping in view of feedback. This innocent sellers accept their returned or sometimes even buyer saying they do not receive item or broken. In fact they actually broken it. Wear it and return it.
Ebay do not see this kind of things. Even if feedback is not valid they will not remove it.
They just care for buyers and their money. Because, if anyone returning without proper reason Ebay is not loosing any money from their pocket. It is innocent sellers.
Even if there is issue with couriers, lost in transit or delay in transit they refund the buyers and if buyer receive the item, they ask you to contact Buyer offline to get money.
Do you think Buyers will pay?
99% of people are fraud and do not pay once they get product. It is like someone find Rs.500 note in the park. And nobody is seeing you, you simply take and think as your own properly.
Honesty is find only in 1-2 percent of the people.
So my question and feedback to Ebay India. Either completely change your system or close your business.
Why harassessment for Sellers?
Sir, You are very true. I also found such kind of issue. Initially I sent a Wooden comb to customer. He said that he got the comb in the broken condition. Then Ebay refunded his money. I suffered a loss of Rs. 90. Then another case come up when a buyer claimed that an Electric kettle is received in broken condition. He even sent me a picture. Then again Ebay refunded the money. I suffered a loss Rs. 600. Then there was a gang from Tamil Nadu who tracked me that I am a new seller and started targeting me so much that I had to stop my business to Tamil nadu. First One customer say customer A from Tamil Nadu, Customer A directly put a negative feedback on my wall without even informing me. When I messaged her about the feedback then customer told me to send another item then she will remove feedback. Then another customer say Customer B from Tamil Nadu put a neutral feedback claiming that the item has slight defect, when I called this customer and explained that what he is calling a defect is not a defect and he can match the product with the original image. He agreed to it & he said that he thought that it is a defect & promised me that he will remove it, But then when I call him he never picks up the phone. This all was going while I was trying to communicate with Customer A regarding replacement. Then one more customer from Tamil Nadu came up say Customer C, who put a negative feedback claiming that she received an empty box which was the heights. She mean to say that I shipped an empty box. Then I understood that all these 3 cases are linked together and some gang is targeting me. Then finally I decided to stop my business with Tamil Nadu.
I request Ebay from here to keep this thing in consideration that while feedback is a right for the buyers. It is also a responsibility at the same time. Negative feedback should be left only if the issue has not been resolved. Other issues like product defect can also be placed in neutral feedback. If someone is getting the replacement then why he is putting a negative feedback if he satisfied with the replaced product.
