My listings are not visible after 4 hours

I have listed few new blankets to sell today but i dont see them for sale after 4 hours of listing... what can be the issue here? anyone faced same issue before? please enlighten me. Thanks

The website is down for the last 15 hours or so.  Ebay customer support has been denying the fact.  I being a seller had to cancel the bids on few items and ended the listings early to avoid any loss.
