I am a top rated gold powerseller on ebay, thanks a lot to ebay for such a wonderful selling platform.
But am not happy with this "ebay Guarantee Claim" thing.
Buyer buys an item, files a claim and ebay approves it without even calling seller.
If the buyer files a claim saying "item not as described", the guarantee claim deptt. should insist the buyer to send the item back to the seller, but this not happens.
We sellers are facing loss due to this system.
For a recent case i sold an item on ebay, its lost in transit. therefore i did ship it again and in the meanwhile buyer filed a claim that item not received.
Item has been delivered and now the buyer is happy.
Received a call today morning from ebay guarantee claim deptt., i told them that the item has been delivered, confirm same from the buyer.
The buyer confirmed that he has received the item.
But the weird thing is that they approved the refund - I think that the claim deptt. is on drugs or alcohol

Facing the same issue....3 claims.... buyer recieved item in time, still refind approved.
in another claim, for item not as described buyer asked replacement, but ebay refunded money. ebay buyer are getting items for free. its good for them...buyer will make habit of such claims and getting free products.
