how to have buyers confirm item receipt

After item is delivered, I send an message to the buyers through ebay to confirm item receipt as otherwise the wait period is too long from ebay (21 days). Is there a template that I can send them in the message showing steps to confirm receipt and leave feedback as many just reply in that meggase that item is received and don't know the way of confirming receipt of item and leaving feedback

I'm also facing same problem.This problem arises when a seller arrange courier/shipment by himself.The best alternative is Powership program.In powership program eBay.in take care of all the shipment.eBay coordinate with Armaex,BLUEDART,Feddex courier to pick up the courier from your adress.You don't have to pay the fees for courier.eBay deduct the powership courier charges from you for certain listings.After the product is successfully delivered eBay process remmitance you immidiately.You have to apply for powership by dropping a mail at-------inlogistics@ebay.com.They wlill ask you the size of cartoons,packaging material,tapes you required.It takes somedays to activate your powership account.Well powership programs have some drawbacks too.Sometime they pick up the product from you after 4 day deadline of order.This upsets customers.Some crook courier operators also put wrong weight to steal from you.Because after they pick up the product from you they have to weigh the product in their offices & inform eBay about the weight & tracking no.Some jerks put 1kg instead of 100gms to cheat.Another problem of powership program is that you should have CST/TIN/VAT no provide invoice for products.It may take up to Rs-20,000 to get TIN no in india.

If you are arranging shipment by yourself ,then it's risk free.Customer will get the products in time.But mostly they forget to confirm item receipt in system other than powership.Well it may take 12-13 days that means 5 days after shipping deadline to process your remmitance.You will get remmitance only on Monday & Thursday
