Hello every one. This is Mohammad Iqbal Khan, My seller id on ebay india is "mdikhan2014". I have opened a fake selling account on ebay to test the ebay system if it is secure for buyers or not. But it is a harsh truth that i found it completely insecure for buyers as ebay is not verifying sellers before sending them live on ebay india. My purpose is not to cheat or not to hurt anyone. But The purpose is to show you the loop hole in your system so that you can make it more safe place for customers to shop on ebay.

I have opened an account on ebay just for testing purpose only. I had listed some items on ebay india website. They were gone live in few seconds after filling some details of products. Ebay won't bother to verify my account details before sending my listing live on their website. This is the main defect in their system.

A customer named Madhur bought the product from one of my listing having Item No.121374462455 (High end camera Costing Rs.154000.00) and Having Paisapay id : 36689635334. After receiving his order on ebay, i had dispatched a blank envelop to
him (intead of the product he ordered for) through India SpeedPost tracking no. ED460504806IN as on 01-07-2014 . After few days customer opened an ebay guarantee claim ID : 556038 stated he have not received the item and applied for refund.

But wow i got a mail from ebay as on 23-07-2014 and amazed me that ebay rejected his(customer's) claim duy to XYZ reason(I don't know the reason, Never talked to ebay as well as customer) and my payment is ready for me.

But as i told you up here that i opened this account just for testing purpose only. So i reject to accept this payment of Rs.154000.00 and request ebay to refund this amount to customer as soon as possible, as i am stating that i haven't sent any product to customer and this account was just for testing purpose only to test ebay's system. My purpose was not to cheat or not to hurt anyone.

Conclusion is ebay should verify each and every seller before sending them live on ebay to sell. So that buyers can buy worry free from ebay.
