Type of Documents required to Sell in India, but purchased in US

Hi There,

Last time I went to India with certain gifts, The person whom I planned to give gifts, did not receive. Then I left those things at my relative's house.

Now I think about selling them from ebay.in platform. I have never done anything illegal in my life. Is there any paperwork that I have to file to sell those items on ebay.in without "suspicion of smuggling". Please inform me whom to pay tax and I like to keep all the books so that I don't clash with the law.

I am in US and my family comes to India about every 2 years.

Hi,
If you have crossed the airport with them as personal baggage,they are as good as cleared by customs.But if you want a formal customs clearence,please tell your friends to go to customs office.They charge Rs20INR for giving that stamp 'cleared by customs'.This is official.You'll get a receipt for that.
