Sending stuff outside India & cancelling a sale

Hi guys,
Just completed my first transaction on ebay.
newcomers optimism made me list a dupont lighter on 1 Rs auction, iforgot to put in a reserve price - and now the auction has closed way below my expectation and paisapay is already processing the credit card of the buyer, besides the courier company says that i need an import export license and a lot of other paper work.
1 - Is there a way i can cancel this order
2 - Any other suggestions ?
3 - How do you get in touch with ebay.in any phone numbers?
4 - if i have to honour the sale any tips on how i can courier it to USA with minimum or no formalities

I don't have answers to all your questions but once you have a winning bidder, you cannot cancel it. If you refund the buyer's money and tell them that the item did not sell at the price you wanted, they may report you as a non selling seller.

Maybe someone else will come along and give you more information.

Age and knowledge don't always come together. Sometimes you just get the age...

hi ... just check the following if you had infact listed the product for international buyers .....
if NO ... you may back out

if YES ....
i would not suggest you to think about cancelling the order without taking the buyer in confidence ... it is not the right attitude ...

if not much of a monetary loss involved .... honour the deal and debit the expenses to LEARING ACCOUNT ..

if a lot of monetary loss is involved ... i would suggest ... have an honest talk or mail the buyer about your honest problem .... i am sure the buyer will understand figuring from your ratings that you are a new user ....

the whatever the outcome ... think hard and take a descision ... the right attitude will help a long way .. i suppose
