Selling Liquids(Printer Ink)

Hi Every One. My Name is Ravi Kiran and I am a Student. I am here on ebay to make some money so that I can do a Robot.

Recently I had a Problem. I got an order for ink which is used to refill inkjet cartridges. 3 bottles for colour cartridges and 1 bottle for black cartridges. I packed and couriered them via DTDC. But after 2 or 3 days I found out that they have returned the parcel back to me and when I enquired for the reason, they told that they wont ship liquids. Even SpeedPost does not allow liquids.

Do anyone know the reason why they wont accept liquids. And is it safe to trade liquids such as above on ebay? If yes, why are the courier companies not accepting them. I refunded the money to the buyer.

Please clear my doubts and do we need to posses any 'certificate' kind of thing to trade on ebay? Like 'license to trade' or something like that......

I would be very thankful for helping me.

Thank You

Liquids? Problem? Not at all. Make it solid and then ship it. It will melt when it reaches the Buyer. Ha ha. Just kidding.

I wonder why they do not accept it. May be security reasons. I think there has to be some kind of paper work.

Selling Liquids(Printer Ink)

Recently I saw HelpLine in DTDC website. There many items such as liquids, magnets, powders... and many such things are banned... I dont know the reason.... But however they also told that liquids are banned only if the cargo is carried by airlines.......
