If Sellers can Create Coupons just like eBay Coupon Codes would be a wonderful feature.

What is it? Seller create a coupon code worth Rs. 50 validity 4 days. Sends the coupon code to existing buyers or post it on his own blogs or website or advertisements. Buyer who got the coupon can apply it at the time of checkout. So, if the item is listed at Rs. 1550 then he would be paying just Rs. 1500. Who don't have the code would be paying Rs. 1550.

We would think of giving back to our genuine buyers or regular buyers.

One way of making this happen is offering them items at discounted prices or listing especially for them. This is difficult to manage or wrong way.

If eBay can give sellers ability to create coupon codes and the ability to communicate the buyers about the coupons and thereby keep up the loyalty towards them as well as increase the sales.

This will improve good competition and excellent buyer base.

eBay can also improve income by keeping a subscription fees to avail this facility of creating Coupon Codes for buyers. Ofcourse, after introducing it and letting sellers avail this feature freely for few months.

Your suggestion is nice. But I think you too also thinking about buyers benefit only. If everyone is thinking about them then who will think about us? What seller is getting paying too much charges for listings, promoting products and sometimes unfair negatives. I think somebody has to think about it.

Main: This is important for us as we feel that we have good buyers on our account. We started thinking of this in favour of our existing buyers and not for new buyers. We also shared previously with eBay support teams on this.

We should think about ourselves. Only thing is keep on calling customer care (CS) for any issues or needs. If one CS doesn't give support, may be another experienced or good CS will provide you solution.

We would like to know more about "You too also thinking...". If you are seeing on -ve feedbacks, coordinate sweetly with buyer. If this fails, immediately challenge the wrong feedbacks in Community Review Forum (CRF) with fair facts. There are other threads to address those issues. And if you have something in particular, you can create a thread and msg us, our team (we are not eBay CS) will surely help you.

Sub for rhtdm.6624: And after you knocked here, we just thought why not eBay give Coupon codes directly to Sellers (atleast few coupons that eBay will allot to buyers) which inturn Sellers offer those coupons to their old buyers. May be you can start new thread with this view.

May be you can reframe our thought on the coupon codes.

We have taken 50/- & 4 days as an example. Seller may be able to create coupon for any amount with any validity period.

@eBay, you can charge sellers in percentages of the coupon amount, bulk coupon discounts. Or you can also charge a wholesum amount say, 100/- for 5000/- amounted coupon and the seller would be able to create any no. of coupons within 5000/-. May be you can give this at free of cost as this will increase returning customers to eBay and seller.

Its aBit offline thought but i have seen some dedicated buyers who donot fall for making new accounts and on the same account buy almost till 50 plus ratings, pure Power Buyers, Well such Buyers should be felicitated with such offers and stuff or special status and sops so this new account making exploiting of discount coupons system is not any more exploited and atleast a user should benefit something in any way if he is LOYAL eBay buyer and not try and rope in fickle new eBayer crowd which causes the most problems to us sellers, old good buyers, should be awarded .
