Hello Everyone
Very Warm Greetings!

I am a new seller on eBay and started my eBay INDIA shop in April, 2010.

In past two months i have sold 390+ items. I have shop inventory of 3000+ items. My eBay shop "BriefMoment" is largest Apparels shop on eBay INDIA. All my buyers are very very happy with there products and my service.(read my +ve feedbacks)

My efforts in bringing apparel's category to life have been recognized by Team eBay. I have been given space on daily deal Twice(Once was for original Jockey Brief where we gave 46% Discount on MRP and last was on Friday, 28th for All White men's Essential Range - 9pcs for Rs 333)



But Lately some eBayer's are abusing me. Some of these are new to eBay and do not take feedbacks seriously while some buyers who are old, deliberately leave negative feedback.

More then 70% of buyers do not leave Detailed Seller Feedback. Of all my sales on eBay(393 till date)
I only received 154 detailed rating.


More over i have been driving new buyers to eBay and as reward 90% of these new buyers are leaving negative feedback. I am very disappointed with this whole situation and need eBay's / Experienced member's feedback on this Situation.



I recently had a transaction with Buyer Id : sayantika
This lady purchased 16 items from me (bra's , panty and other discreet stuff)

The paisapay id for this transaction was 26622549161
She paid for them on 01/05/10 and I shipped out the items on 05/05/10

The items were dispatched via on dot courier which provide delivery with in 48hrs.
AWB was 216224671.

The courier company's representative made 19 attempts to deliver the item, but the buyer was never available at the registered address.

We even provided this lady the contact details of the courier'd local office.


Later, we told her that .... rather she emailed us that since she is not getting the item we should call this deal off!

I offered her refund on receipt of item back.
But instead she opened up item not received case on us.

In Resolution center We immediately offered her refund and stated
"
WE ALREADY DISPATCHED THE ITEM.

THE COURIER PERSON TRIED TO DELIVER THE ITEM 19 TIMES
WE EVEN COMMUNICATED WITH BUYER AND PROVIDED HER THE CONTACT DETAILS OF THE LOCAL DELIVERY OFFICE.
WE HAVE ALREADY LOST THE OWNERSHIP OF THE PRODUCT.
WE WANT OUR BUYER TO BE HAPPY. WE WANT THEM TO COME
BACK AGAIN TO EBAY FOR THERE PURCHASES.
HENCE WE ARE READY TO REFUND THE BUYER.
WE EVEN COURIERED THE CHECK TO BUYER BUT EVEN THAT CHECK OF DIDN'T REACHED HER"



After Refund now she have let us 16 negatives (one each for her item) stating "The seller never sends the item. Pls dont trust him"


i sent the items on time.
the courier person made numerous attempts to deliver the item.

All the details are there on the tracking website.

Kindly suggest me way out from this situation.

I have appealed against all these feedbacks in eBayCourt, but the buyer is not responding to it.

Dear Team eBay and Senior members,
Please guide me to fightback from this situation.

I will feel real bad if these feedbacks are not revised.




The over all situation on eBay India is very unorganized.

The fee charged in Apparel category is 10% of sale(5% paisapay fee + 5% final value fee).
Instead of recognizing our efforts in attracting new buyers, we are facing problems due to lack of knowledge of these new buyers.

It would be interesting to know How my fellow Buyers / Sellers/ Team eBay reacts on this thread.

same sad story again, do we have any defense against such buyers? look at sellers feedback profile, 1 single half witted buyer ruined it all. buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

Hello Sellers !

Myself, Kunal Gupta am a Buyer on Ebay and a small time Seller also on Ebay.

I have had the Privilege of Trading with Mr.Tushar of "tushardang" and have done 7 Transactions with him But all of them with different ebay id's - my friends have been very generous in letting Me use their Discount coupons in Buying products from Mr.Tushar which he is selling at Throw away prices Because you all know that the shipping address can be different from the registered address.

Mr.Tushar is to be Highly Commended for his services BUT at the same time A Stern Warning should be issued to him for posting False shipping details and then saying that " I was Not available to Receive the product on my doorstep wherein the Product Never reached me Because all the AWB'S provided by him were wrong.

Before progressing further - Mr.Tushar, i have No personal grudges against you & i really like the products you are selling and that is why i have engaged myself in 7 transactions with you.

But, please be advised that out of 7 transactions, i have Received only 1 and the other 6 are still on their way or should i say " i have No idea and completely clueless ".

Example : purchase made on May 19th, 2010 for 2pcs of Jockey Modern Briefs and Today is June 4th, 2010 and as of today, right now, i have NOT Received the product.

You 1st provided the Tracking Number ( AWB ) for this product as 216354577 & then after waiting for a week then provided me the 2nd Tracking number (AWB) 216347400.

All reading, please be advised that these consignment numbers given above are for "ON DOT COURIER AND CARGO LTD" and when YOU PEOPLE (SELLERS) will track these 2 above mentioned AWB's then the Website CLEARLY mentions that " TRACKING # XXXXXXXXX IS NOT FOUND, contact CUSTOMER CARE ".

But, when i contacted Mr.Tushar, he said that The item was Sent on time But went back becuase " nobody was at home to receive the consignment " ALL SELLERS READING, please be advised that this is the same Excuse given by Mr.Tushar at the start of the Post complaining against 17 negative feedbacks.

Now, you people know what - Mr.Tushar has given me a 3rd AWB # 216347402 for the SAME consignment.

What am i to say or believe further ? It is for you sellers to contemplate & decide...

Also, bear in mind that I have NOT received other 5 products from Mr.Tushar as the consignment number on 2 more purchases are showing as "INVALID" even after more than 5 days of shipping the product. Does it take really that long for DTDC or any other courier service to update their website...if this were the case then the courier people will simply go out of business.

Even after so much of deliberation i am still waiting for the product because invariably it is the product that i have use and the seller is just only the medium in providing me with the product of my choice.

PLEASE SELLERS : Please look into the whole story of the Transaction before arriving at a decision...

To Sum up : Having experience a similar experience from "tushardang" - all i want to say here in this forum that Mr.Tushar is Lying and that the Buyer was justified in leaving him with 16 Negative feedbacks.

Now all of you will rise up furiously to my comments saying that i am wrong BUT then who has give you the Right to Critisize the buyer who has left 16 negative fbacks. If i Don't know the facts Then also You Don't know the facts. It is as simple as this...

Sir you are very much right in putting forward your views on the issue. Being a seller myself I can explain how such a thing can be done. Please do not take my remarks as my judgments, I am merely adding how such things are being done on eBay. @ Tushar Jee, I am not pointing fingers at you, But I want to bring hidden complications some sellers try to create on eBay.

As we all know the amount of business we averagely give to courier company. My monthly courier bills are over RS 40 Thousand. And I am not a very big seller.

Now with this amount of business it is possible for courier companies to issue booking leafs to sellers, which happens generally . And sellers can enter shipping details without actually shipping the item. The tracking number is reserved as the booking sheet is with the seller. But in case the seller runs out of item or say some other problem happens he may eventually not ship the item. It is possible that such instances may be causing the complications.

Please read again, these are not my judgments I am passing but some of my views which I am posting, I request sellers not to react on this. As I am just bringing forward a loophole in the system.

DO not take this personnely, but You do not have any items for sale(Read: you are not a seller if you dont sale)

Coming back to your point of wrong AWB Details.
I started this venture solo and due to increased sales. I have to recuit staff(they provide backup on the desk when i am not available, its kind of proxy on my behalf) for ebay business.
I know , No matter how much i pay them they will never be as careful as a real seller.
ANd for that purpose i have a dedicated mobile phone(number mentioned in listings, my blackberry have push mail therefore any mail sent to us will not go un noticed). I am available round the clock. you should have contacted me. How do i know you have problem if you do not comunicate it.

Being human They(the staff) are prone to mistakes like anyone of us. You can be right if the AWB by which ur item was dispatched is invalid. Today out here in community i will provide you the copy of ur AWB. then i will provide you with a screenshot of ur tracking websites screen.

ALong with your order dated 21-05-2010 as many as 251 packets were dispatched(we were chosed for deal of the day, and had very good response from INDIAN customers). Everone got there pacel. I do not say that you are lying. Exceptions do happen at times, but that dosent mean seller is Wrong. I am suppose to dispatch the packet via courier, do not expect seller to hand deliver the item at your house by catching first flight available to your city. We are appologetic ,This fantasy will never be fulfilled(Read: We the sellers work on un imaginable low margins we can not provide such service.)


Further the items we are selling are with free shipping. Since are new here,we use best courier service. But Practically you should Expect delay in receipt and should not start jumping if there is a delay in free shipping items.

If you want express service, pay for it and get instant delivery.


Coming back to multiple orders you have place.
Either you will get your item with in the given timeline as specified by ebay or you will get back your money.
ebay is a very secure medium. The standerds of security are very high on ebay. We work hand in hand with such procedures. Now regarding mutiple ids that you have. It should be reported to ebay.

Thats something i think not allowed on ebay. I do not have the url of any policy which states this, but sooner or later you will learn it. 🙂

I hope i was able to provide you with a very satisfactory revert.
If you have started trusting me already(buying on internet is trusting your seller), leave me good feedback from your multiple ids and tell me you are with me 😉

For record i would like to repeat here what i have posted earlier--

A New ebay'r ( Member id:nikitasarda )came in for shoping at our ebay shop . his item was ordered, paid, dispatched and recieved in less then 48 hrs. as soons as he received it. he left me another negative. he wanted a perticular color and in the listing itself i clearly mentioned twice that the listing is for assorted color.

Mr. Kunal The small time seller on eBay, Please Tell me what do i do in this case.

i couldn't disagree with you on this. there are few buyers, lets say a bunch of buyers which are totally insensible. they think they have purchased the seller with that amount. IT IS SIMPLE BUSINESS, you pay, we ship the item in 7 days, if not, then you get refund. WHATS THE FUZZ ABOUT? why leave negative, when buyer gets their money back? buy genuine mobiles at unbeatable price.

Thank you Mr.Tushar for your reply - as i expressed earlier that my post & the remarks contained within were Not personal and that I too am a Fan of your Products...Only a few points needed to be straightened out and that i will Happily buy again from your ebay shop provided the Right offer & scheme comes by...

Now replying to your post :
1) i DON'T own Multiple user id's - i have clearly Stated that all the id's from which my purchases were made from your shop Belong to my Friends. If a known person does not want to shop on ebay even though he has a valid id then i Don't think that There is No rule that restricts other users taking advtg of the ebay offers. I think this is why Ebay has the option to enter an alternate shipping address.

2) AWB # 216347409 : Now, this is the 4th AWB being provided by you for the Same item...The 1st & Original AWB provided by you on Ebay shipping details was 216347400. If the New AWB is the Right awb then why have you been "beating round the bush" by sending me Wrong AWB numbers. Also, the address provided by me to you for shipping the product is of my Manufacturing facility that Stays Open 24x7 ( except Sunday ) as this unit can not afford to be closed and we have more than 200 personnel working round the clock.

3) I am Not at all worried about the Refund as i am well aware of the system and am not worried that my money will get lost. Infact, this afternoon at 3:30 pm i received a call from ebay customer care confirming the Refund BUT i asked them to put the Refund on hold as the seller has promised to have the product delivered.

4) I purchased 4pcs of Jockey undergarments : How is that i Received 2pcs and for the other 2pcs i was NOT available.

" MOST IMPORTANT POINT : ALL PEOPLE TAKE NOTE "
5) After much dillydallying with Mr.Tushar for more than 14 days, I Received an Email from Mr.tushar on June 3rd, at 4:25:59 pm which please find below the excerpts from his email :

Because, today he has mentioned the 4th AWB under which the Same consignment was Shipped on May 21st under AWB # 216347409 BUT as per his Last email He Shipped the Consignment under AWB # 216347402 which got Lost and went instead to Allahabad.

I CAN'T SAY MORE TO SUCH ABSURD TEXT FROM Mr.Tushar & i am still interested in His Product as i say again " that my post & the contents are Not personal and don't aim to Tarnish his Image in any way whatsoever.

What i am going to tell you now will be beneficial for you. but i suppose by the time you know this ebay have already attached all your a/c's
Reason: when you use same ip address to login different user ids, they all get connected.

Though there is no harm in this. The only problem is that in case if any one of ur id gets suspended. all the linked id gets suspended.


All previous AWB provided by staff were wrong(Human error, an uncontrollable thing) That makes todays communication valid and voids all previous information, hence i provided u the actual AWb with documantry proofs> atleast now u belive we shipped ur item on time.

The delay is unknown and we are introspecting in ur case

Why are you so Confused with the AWB numbers - now, can i have the 5th awb for my consignment 🙂

Yesterday, you provided everyone with a copy of the AWB for my consignment CLAIMING that the Item was Returned due to Non - Delivery. The New AWB given by you Yesterday was 216347409 of which you have uploaded a copy.( which actually belongs to a different purchase which i have already received & confirmed item receipt way back on may 25th )

Now, EBAY SELLERS & JURY MEMBERS: ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME OR JUST PLAYING SAFE - Mr.Tushar yesterday, provided you all with Proof that I was NOT at my residence to take receipt of the consignment.

But, either He was WRONG altogether or BLATANTLY LYING : because, as i have just given everyone the details of AWB # 216347409. The consignment under this awb was shipped & received by myself & I HAVE ALREADY CONFIRMED RECEIPT IN THE EBAY PANE ON MAY 25TH, 2010.

It is Time now for Ebay Sellers & Jury members to Take Note of the Lies being told on Ebay Forum by Tushar Because He is straight away lying Because if i Did Not Receive the product then how did I CONFIRM ITEM RECEIPT on May25th, 2010.

Hey Tushar - CHANGE YOUR COURIER SERVICE PROVIDER : even after delivering the product & the buyer confirming the item receipt, The courier people are showing Present status as " Not Delivered "... Well, if you want to Continue Receiving Negative Fbacks then Please go ahead & use On Dot service But if you opt for Reputed courier service then you will Not face this problem.
You can also take My Case of Item Receipt to initiate legal action against On Dot for Misleading both Buyer & Seller.
