Hi Friends,
I have encountered a weird situation:
a buyer in range of a month made several bids on my items (10 items) ranging from 9.99 to 4999.99 totaling above 10,000. He did not paid or replied to my e-mails until I opened unpaid disputes.
Upon repeated mails and message, he paid for 4 items those were altogether costed him less than 2000.00.
Following further he never replied. One fine day when unpaid dispute was matured (note that 7 days to file and 7 days to be eligible makes 2 weeks time) he wrote me that one item, he could source cheaper so he want it mutually canceled. I did accordingly.
Again when 2 more items were about to eligible he wrote me he want to cancel for same reason.
He paid for small amount 4 items, they were delivered but he did not marked item received and left feedback for those. I kept writing him but he do not reply.
Mean time I observed that he is bidding and buying many items which confirms that he got all my mails and dispute notifications. He is also leaving feedback for other users but holding mine (even for items paid, delivered).
I have sincere feeling that he intentionally holding my feedback so he can use it as a weapon against my "unpaid strikes" and "negative feedback".
In all this situation, although ebay will refund final value credit, I have lost listing fees, lost other potential buyers for long 2 weeks and time to communicate.
In my 2 years I had 1 negative feedback from a stupid buyer who brought an item with competitive bidding for Rs 1000.00. I listed another similar item next week with starting price 100.00 and he though he got cheated.
Now what and how should I tackle this situation ? If I leave -ve for him, he will do same and my repo is screwed, if I don't I won't have chance to express my losses due to his behavior.
Shouldn't be ebay have something that binds buyers as well with "agreement to buy" and when they fail to fulfill transaction, seller should get something. At least prevent buyer to leave feedback for non paid items.
Please advice?
